The park is known for its quiet serenity, scenic lake, 5-mile walking trail, bird-watching opportunities and many other draws. As a popular watchable wildlife destination, the park offers large numbers of waterfowl during the spring and fall migration. Parking is located on Arnold Road, just north of Watkins Lake.
