Hayes State Park Description

W.J. Hayes State Park is located on the southern shore of Wamplers Lake and located in the heart of the Irish Hills, which known for its 52 inland lakes and rolling hills. The 78-acre park offers a modern campground, a large swimming area, two boat launches, a fishing pier, trails, a picnic shelter, interpretive programs and more. In addition, there are opportunities for geocaching, metal detecting and much more. Hayes State Park is located on Wamplers Lake in the heart of the Irish Hills. The entrance to the park is located on US-12, just 9 miles west of Clinton and 4 miles east of M-50. M-1
