Still a work in progress, Kiholo State Park Reserve is undergoing conceptual planning for future public use. Kiholo State Park Reserve is a lava-covered coastal park with bays, lava flows, and vast open spaces.
Camping is allowed on weekends only (Friday through Sunday nights), but there’s no running water, so you’ll want to bring your own (portable toilets are provided).
If you’re visiting for the day, please note that the gates are locked nightly. When entrance gates are locked for the night, vehicles will not be leave the park.
