Spring Meadow Lake State Park is located on the western edge of Helena. It is an urban day-use park and is a popular spot for family afternoons of swimming, sunbathing, fishing, birdwatching, and having fun. The park features new picnic shelters and a pavilion for group use. You can book the pavilion for the day online, or if you would like to reserve the pavilion for less than a full day, please call the park manager directly at 406-495-3270. In addition to the water and beach area, the park offers an .8 mile, self-guided nature trail that circles the lake. There is no lifeguard on duty
