Located just west of Bartlesville in the heart of the Osage Nation in northeast Oklahoma, Osage Hills State Park is a prime example of Oklahoma's natural beauty.  With lush forests, rocky bluffs and serene waters, the park boasts 1,100 acres of scenery. A visit to Osage Hills State Park in the fall will inspire visitors, as the foliage transforms from green to vivid shades of yellow, orange and red. 

Trails on the rocky, hilly terrain provide a challenge to hikers and mountain bikers, and there are many to choose from in Osage Hills State Park. Visitors may catch a glimpse of white-tailed deer or a wild turkey while on the trails. Tennis courts and a ball field are available to visitors, and the swimming pool provides a great way to cool off on a hot day. 

Fishing is a favorite activity in Osage Hills State Park. Anglers can test their skills and try their luck at Lookout Lake or at Sand Creek, which winds through the park. Bass, crappie, catfish and sunfish, among other fish, can be found. Fishing boats are available for rental at the lake.

RV sites with water and electricity hookups, as well as tent sites are available at Osage Hills State Park.  Reservations for all tent and RV sites must be made online. The park also offers a waste dump station for RVs. Visitors can relax in one of the two wall tents or eight native stone cabins, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the '30s. 

Each cabin has central heat and air, a fireplace, kitchen facilities and allows pets for a small nightly fee. Cabins one through three and five through eight offer one bedroom, while cabin four offers two bedrooms. The park offers a picnic area and picnic pavilions, as well as comfort stations and a facility with modern bathhouses.

A group camp is also available. It consists of a large dining hall with two fireplaces, as well as tables and seating for 120 people. The on-site commercial kitchen has a walk-in cooler, ice machine and enough utensils to serve 120 people. There is also an attached bathhouse. A total of nine bunkhouses are available to sleep up to 118 people, and there is another bathhouse near the bunkhouses.

***NOTICE*** Winterization Update - Water in the campground and comfort station will be available until the first freeze. After that, potable water will be avaialble at the entrance into the RV area. The main bathhouse in the RV Campground will be available. Tent Hill Campground and the remaining comfort stations will be closed and winterized from 11/1/20 - 4/1/21. Group camp will be closed from 12/1/20 - 4/1/21. 

Osage Hills State Park

Keystone State Park is located in northeast Oklahoma, just west of Tulsa, on picturesque Keystone Lake. This state park offers many different activities and accommodation choices for guests. For an action-packed time, load up the family in your own boat, or rent one and cruise onto the lake for watersports or fishing. ATV/ORV areas are located close by below the dam. Boat ramps within the park provide easy access to the lake. Pier 51 Marina is conveniently located in Keystone State Park, offering boat and equipment rentals as well as fuel, groceries and other boating necessities. They also have a full-service, floating restaurant at the marina when in season.

Those who want to stay on land can explore around the edges of Keystone Lake in the park or watch for birds and other wildlife among the trees and hills of Oklahoma's Green Country. Keep the kids entertained with a visit to the children's fishing pond or the park's playgrounds.

Keystone State Park offers three campgrounds: Red Carpet, Green Country and Lake Country. RV sites with full hookups including 30- or 50-amp electric are available.  All RV and tent sites are available for online reservations. There are picnic areas with outdoor grills and pavilions throughout the park for meals and congregating. Comfort stations with showers are available near the campsites. Pets are allowed in the park, and there is dump station access for visitors.

Guests also have the option to stay in furnished cabins featuring every possible amenity, including full kitchens and bathrooms. Each of the 22 cabins at Keystone State Park has a microwave, refrigerator, stove, satellite television and fireplace. A couple cabins even feature Jacuzzi bathtubs. Layouts vary, from one bedroom to multiple bedroom cabins. Pets are allowed in select one-bedroom and two-bedroom cabins for a small fee.

Plan your next group meeting or special event at the on-site conference center. With a full kitchen and a great view, this meeting place is a great choice. Keystone State Park's main office, where cabin and campsite rentals are arranged, serves as the park's information center and grocery store.

***NOTICE*** Winterization update. All sites and restrooms at Red Carpet Campground will close from 11/1/20 - 4/1/21. Lake Country Campground will close for winterization 12/01/20 - 04/01/21. Green Country restrooms, boat ramps and the marina will remain open.  

Keystone State Park

Take the family fishing and enjoy beautiful Lake Hudson at Snowdale State Park! Safe, wholesome fun for all ages.

Snowdale State Park is located on the shore of Lake Hudson and is popular for its bass, catfish, perch and crappie fishing. All water sports are allowed on the lake, and other recreational activities include camping, picnics, swimming, volleyball and hiking. Visitors to the park will find a lighted boat ramp, swimming beach, playground, volleyball court, comfort station with showers, RV sites, tent campsites, picnic tables and a group picnic shelter.

Snowdale Area at Grand Lake State Park

Cherokee Area at Grand Lake State Park is located on the shore of Grand Lake O' The Cherokees, one of Oklahoma's largest lakes with 46,500 surface acres and 1,300 miles of shoreline. As a whole, the park in northeastern Oklahoma consists of several smaller areas located near the Pensacola Dam and around the lake. The Cherokee Area is known for great fishing and a variety of water sports. Amenities include picnic sites, a group shelter, campsites, playgrounds, comfort stations, lighted boat ramp and a 9-hole golf course.

Visitors have their choice between four campgrounds. The Lakeside Campground features a beach for swimming, 12 RV sites, and15 tent sites that must be reserved online.  A playground, group shelter and comfort station. The Grand View Campground features four RV sites with electric service only, 45 tent sites, a group shelter and comfort station. All campsites must be reserved online.

The Riverside Campground below the Pensacola Dam features tent sites that must be reserved online. A group shelter and boat ramp which offers access to the river. This campground has pit toilets. In the nearby Grand Cherokee Campground, located below the Pensacola Dam, a comfort station with showers is available. RV sites with full hookups including 50-amp electric must be booked online.

The Grand Lake region is a great place to see all sorts of wildlife and waterfowl year-round. In the late fall to early spring, the area is an especially good time to see American Bald Eagles and occasionally a Golden Eagle. The best viewing is below Pensacola Dam on the scenic Grand River. From late October through March, this area below the dam is a haven for the eagles as they hunt for small fish, often snatching them off the surface of the water, or even stealing them from other birds. The best time to watch the birds in action is early in the morning

Important Update: Due to flooding damage, the golf course is currently closed.

Grandview Campground and bathroom will close for winterization from 11/3/20 - 3/11/21.

This golf course is set against the beautiful backdrop of Pensacola Dam with tree-lined fairways, Bermuda greens, well-placed bunkers, minimum water hazards and a spectacular view of the Pensacola Dam. Facilities include a driving range and pro shop with cart and club rentals, snacks and drinks. Private and group lessons are available from a PGA Professional. 

Beginners can learn the basics of the golf swing in a fun and friendly environment. The beginner will also play on the course to learn etiquette and strategy in a casual manner. Lessons are also available for intermediate and advanced players. Learn your swing flaw(s) and how to correct them and to enjoy a more consistent game. Video analysis is included. Recreation and RV camping are available at nearby Cherokee State Park, where non-golfers can enjoy water sports and outdoor activities.

Grand Cherokee Golf Course

The Little Blue Area at Grand Lake State Park is comprised of a small creek and plenty of camping spots. Visitors will find shallow, crystal-clear waters perfect for families with young children, as well as 30 primitive tent camping spots nestled between the trees and Grand Lake. Leashed pets are welcome, and the park is open 24 hours a day.

The Little Blue Area at Grand Lake State Park is centrally located between Tulsa (65 miles), Joplin (67 miles) and Rogers (63 miles), which lets you get away without wandering too far from home.

Nearby entertainment includes Hogan's Off Road Park, which is located right beside the neighboring dam spillway. The park gives off-roaders easy access to the range with about five square miles of trails and rock structures for rock crawlers. Guests can also check out Grand River Dam Authority Ecosystems and Education Center and book a tour of the Pensacola Dam.

Disney/Little Blue Area at Grand Lake State Park

Nestled on the western end of Spavinaw Lake below the spillway, the Spavinaw Area at Grand Lake State Park offers a quiet, beautiful setting for all your vacation needs. Clean turquoise water flows through a stream located below the lake's spillway. In the spring, the stream is lined with blooming Dogwood trees.

Camping facilities in the park include RV and tent sites that must be reserved online. Comfort stations with coin-operated hot showers are nearby. The park has plenty of shaded picnic areas, as well as two large, covered shelters for gatherings. In addition to the playground, families with small children can especially enjoy this park for the shallow water in the swimming area.

The outdoorsman in your family will especially love the fishing opportunities at Lake Spavinaw. Varieties of fish in the lake include channel catfish, crappie, large and smallmouth bass, sunfish, spotted bass, walleye and white bass. The Spavinaw Wildlife Management Area, which allows hunting and hiking, is also close to the park.
