The park encompasses the 932-acre island – in the St. Marys River about two miles from the eastern tip of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula – plus just about six and one-half acres on the mainland in the community of Raber. Visitors to the island must charter or navigate a boat more than 2 miles across the St. Marys River. Get back to the simple pleasures in life. The park is located in the eastern tip of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and encompasses the 932-acre island and 6.5 acres in the community of Raber on the mainland.
