Positioned between the Cross Timbers region and the grasslands of the Flint Hills, Fall River State Park is home to a remarkable diversity of plant and animal life. The 980-acre park is a unique blend of forested flood plains, blackjack savannas, and tall-grass prairie. Six hiking trails and an orienteering course offer visitors an up-close and personal perspective on this unique area. A favorite pastime is canoeing Fall River, which feeds into the 2,450-acre reservoir of the same name.
