Driftwood Beach State Recreation Site Description

Driftwood Beach State Wayside provides access to the ocean and picnic facilities scattered among the shore pine. The area offers a wide, flat, sandy beach. A great place for beachcombing and enjoying beautiful sunsets. The land was acquired first by purchase of 7.70 acres in 1968 and then in 1986, by a gift of 29 acres from L. Presley Gill.
